This is a small size, hand painted, framed watercolour painting of a British nuthatch Inspired by a bird that visits my own garden, this little bird is hand drawn by me in graphite pencil then is tinted using light washes of watercolour to add colour and detail. The background is left as a pencil drawing of trees with a white background.

Roughly 11.5 x 9 cm (4.5 x 3.5 inches) in size, the painting comes framed in a repurposed golden brown, vintage style style frame with small distressed details (please see the close up photos to see details). It is also glazed using real glass. The back of the frame has a gold coloured hanging fixture so you can hang the painting on your wall and three flip locks keeping the back in place.
