This listing is for one miniature watercolour painting of Waterloo Monument in the Scottish Borders, near Jedburgh. It is an historic tower built between 1817 and 1824 to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo and is also called the Wellington Monument. It stands proudly atop Penielheugh (hill) and can be seen from many places in the Borders, including my own garden.

The image is 2.5x3.5 inch ( 6.5 x 9 cm) painted on a 4x5 inch (10x12.5cm)  piece of excellent quality cotton rag watercolour paper with artist quality paints. It is signed by me but unmounted and unframed.

This is an ideal opportunity to have a small piece of original art in your home. It would also make an ideal gift. Paintings are well packaged in protective folders to keep your purchase clean.
